We're in awe with Virginia and Daniel's maternity photos! It was just over a year ago when we captured these two tying the knot! and to hear that they're expecting a baby girl is just amazing! Virginia is glowing with her baby bump and we love it! When she reached out for a maternity photo, we felt so special, since we have been there during her big milestones - from her wedding to her baby announcement, it was only fitting that we would be doing their maternity shoot .
Virginia wanted a rustic, sun-kissed natural look to really accentuate her shoot. We decided to choose Toronto's Glen Stewart Ravine as the backdrop for their beautiful photos. Right as the sun set, the glow coming through the woods was the perfect start to the shoot. As we hiked down, the setting completely changed with all the leaves on the ground and a small stream running through the Ravine. Good thing Virginia had brought a few dresses to choose from. We ended up using up all her dresses with different backdrops to add variety to the shoot. Normally, with outfit changes, the shoot can take longer than expected. But having that chemistry with Virginia and Daniel, I knew exactly what they wanted and how to pose them. With the help of perfect natural lighting and 3 outfit changes, we flew through the entire shoot in just over an hour.
