A holiday treat at Blue Mountain this winter! Priti and Suraj both wanted a casual and cozy engagement shoot in the snow mixed in with some holiday cheer to celebrate their one year proposal anniversary.
As we got to know Priti and Suraj, we realized they both love the outdoors. Some of their favourite dates consisted on hiking and exploring new places. They both love being in the moment and getting those natural candid photos are really important to them.
As we got closer to the shoot date, we decided to head up north to Blue Mountain.
The first part of the shoot was all about the cozy candid photos. We started at the top of the Blue Mountain with the snowy backdrop. Their dark sweaters created a really nice contrast from the bright white background while Priti's scarf added the perfect touch of colour! It was easy to capture these two in their natural element as we hiked through the snow. After having some fun on the mountain, it was time to add some holiday cheer!
We decided to head down to the Blue Mountain Village for the second part of the shoot where the entire village was sparkling with with Christmas lights and decorations. A perfect setting for some holiday photos. We got there just in time as it started to get dark and the lights began to glow brighter. Capturing Priti and Suraj with their love felt magical as the warm glow from the lights gave the photos that cozy feeling.
We absolutely loved spending time with Priti and Suraj during this shoot and it was the perfect experience to add to our holiday season!
